At Randstad we are currently looking for a Senior Equity Research Analyst who will work side-by-side with Investment Professionals located in US, LatAm and Europe for a Global Equity Firm. The main objective of the role is to assist the teams with research support throughout the investment/deal life cycle. The sectors under scope are Technology, Consumer, Healthcare and Financial Services. This position provides the opportunity to work in a global environment with top analysts/executives.
The main duties to be perform are:
- Help the teams to identify and understand key investment areas within the technology, consumer, healthcare and financial services sectors globally by preparing industry overviews on sub-sectors/verticals.
- Assess viability of expansion projects and/or M&A activities using valuation techniques (DCF analysis) to recommend credit alternatives.
- Build material to help the team prepare for meetings with prospect companies: company profiles, people profiles, etc.
- Support the team sourcing effort by building market maps and identifying potential prospect companies.
- Prepare Insight analysis on specific sectors and keep the teams up to date sharing relevant sector information.
- Content editor for daily / weekly newsletters.
Skills required:
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Business Economics or other relative degrees (Mandatory).
- Fluency in English (Mandatory).
- Prior experience of 2 years in a similar profile (Mandatory).
- Advanced degrees and certifications such as a CFA and Masters in Finance/Economics, MBA are preferred.
- Knowledge and interest in M&A, Valuation, Impairment Test, Due Digilence.
- Excellent Word, Spreadsheet and PowerPoint skills .
- Solid finance skills and interest in finance.
