At Randstad we are currently looking for an Equity Research Analyst who will work closely with client’s team (a leading Investment Bank) to update and maintain databases and research reports regarding the US Agrochemicals equity industry.
The main duties to be perform are:
- Prepare annual/quarterly opinion commentaries and reports based on fundamental analysis for a set of assigned companies in multiple industries for a global sell-side bank.
- Prepare/ Update equity models including DCF valuation, peer analysis, relative value analysis and calculations of key operating and financial metrics.
- Strong understanding of fundamental equity analysis with an ability to recommend/communicate investment recommendations.
- Regular surveillance of assigned portfolio by proactively tracking the company events (including quarterly earnings), peer group and other industry information sources.
Skills required:
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or other relative degrees.
- Advanced/Bilingual English (Mandatory)
- Excellent Excel & database management skills.
- Equity report writing and financial modelling experience.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting standards.
- Ability to articulate well to clients over phone and email in English (must).
- Understanding of local & global financial markets and industry dynamics.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Diligence and hard work.
- Independent and decisive mind set.
- Willingness to stretch and work with global clients.
- Some experience in the Research or Consulting domain would be preferred.
