At Randstad we are currently looking for a Ssr. Markets Credit Research who will work in a global company, side-by-side with the team of an investment bank based in the U.S. The main objective of the role is to assist the client’s EM Credit research team. This position provides the opportunity to work alongside UK based senior analysts to diligence and monitor industry-leading companies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Undertake research projects at the Industry/ Macro level including data updates and analysis. This would involve working with the team to develop a deeper understanding of specific industries as well as to develop a big data approach to monitor industry KPIs across several sectors.
- Build new and update existing company models including building forecasting future financials.
- Prepare a detailed peer analysis on operating and financial parameters.
- Track market events closely and assess implications on the coverage portfolio.
- Support senior analysts / project managers on ad hoc requests.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Business Economics or other relative degrees (Mandatory).
- Advanced degrees and certifications such as a CFA and Masters in Finance/Economics, MBA are preferred.
- Fluency in English (Mandatory).
- 1-3 years of experience in assessing credit risk or credit research or equity research or financial research of global corporates.
- Strong understanding of core finance and accounting concepts.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Strong inter-personal skills and ability to participate/contribute as a team player.
- Should be willing to put in the extra hours when tight deadlines need to be met.
Working Model:
Full time - Hybrid model (mixes in-office and remote work during the week)
