The Research Analyst will work side-by-side with the research team one of CRISIL’s clients, a Private Equity Firm based in New York. The main objective of the role is to assist the teams with research support throughout the investment/deal life cycle and thematic analysis. The sectors under scope are mainly Technology, Technology-Enabled and Telecommunication.
This position provides the opportunity to work in a global environment with top analysts/executives.
The main duties to be performed are:
- Helping the teams identify and understand key investment areas within the technology, technology-enabled and telecommunication sectors globally by preparing industry overviews on sub-sectors/verticals.
- Building prep-materials for meetings with target companies: company profiles, investors decks, competitive landscapes, CIMs, etc.
- Supporting the team’s sourcing effort by building market maps and identifying potential prospect companies
- Preparing deep insight analysis on specific sectors and keeping the teams up to date sharing relevant sector information
- Editing content for daily / weekly newsletters, financial and M&A trackers
- Daily and direct communication with the client and senior management
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or other related degrees
- Fluency in English (Mandatory)
- Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Solid finance skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to stretch and work with global clients
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
