An S&P Global Company is looking for Equity Research Analyst to work closely with Client’s team (a leading Investment Bank) to update and maintain databases and research reports regarding the US Equity Market.
We are looking for a highly motivated and methodical individual with solid excel skills, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate would preferably have some experience in the equity market and a very good English level.
Job Description:
... - Build and update company and industry models
- Create and maintain databases using data from different sources
- Work on regular research publications - earnings previews, reviews, event updates, flash notes etc.
- Contribute meaningful research ideas for thematic publications
- Carry out sector analysis and come up with investment themes /ideas
- Keep a track of latest developments in the companies under coverage and the sector and incorporate these into the research publications etc.
- Conduct independent company-specific, economic, or trend analysis
- Assist in publishing written articles and research reports that summarize analysis & findings
- Write and publish analytical articles with minimal supervision, and requiring little editing or input from senior team members
- Deepen research skills to prepare investment thesis and generate differentiated research ideas
- Get an opportunity to travel onsite and work closely with the onshore team and understand/experience the investment decision making process
Qualification:
Bachelor in Economis/Finance/bussines Administration/Acoountability (Mandatory)
Fluency in English (Mandatory)
Candidate should have:
- Strong academic background (leading institution preferred)
- Analytical profile, with strong quantitative and financial modeling skills
- Understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced excel skills
- Self-starter, who enjoys working remotely
- 1+ years of experience in equity research, consulting, banking, private equity, investment management, corporate finance, or a related field
Preferred skills:
- Working towards or desire to work towards CFA
- Python, SQL, and/or VBA
This is a full-time hybrid position to be covered from home and the office located in Vicente Lopez, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina.
